While we provide a secure, state-of-the-art facility, Prolific Self Storage does not provide insurance coverage for your stored items at this time. To ensure your peace of mind, we strongly recommend that all customers maintain their own insurance policy.
How to Secure Coverage
Most customers find that their belongings are already protected through one of the following:
- Homeowners or Renters Insurance: We recommend checking with your provider to see if your storage unit is covered under your current plan.
- Third-Party Storage Insurance: There are several specialised providers that offer affordable, month-to-month coverage specifically for self-storage units.
Future Insurance Options
We are currently working on a dedicated insurance program to make protecting your items even easier. Once this service is launched:
- New Customers will be able to opt-in during the booking process.
- Existing Customers will receive an email notification with full details and the option to add coverage to their current account seamlessly.
Until then, please ensure your independent policy is active before moving your items into your unit.
